Orientation Program for Nurses New to General Practice

AGPN supports the continuing professional development of health care professionals through providing accredited and endorsed training packages. AGPN is involved in the development and delivery of both online and face to face education and training.

This site provides access to a number of education and training packages that have been developed by AGPN.  When a specific training package is selected for completion, participants will be prompted to enter personal and contact details, including any professional membership numbers, before access to the training is provided. At this stage, the accreditation with any relevant professional body, including the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and the Royal Australian College of Nursing (RCNA), will be detailed.

A certificate of completion will be available to save or print when the training is completed and all the requirement have been fulfilled. The reporting of the completion of the training to any accrediting professional body, like the RACGP or RCNA, will be undertaken by AGPN.

AGPN acknowledges the financial support of the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.

The cost to enrol in the Orientation Program in $150 for all 12 modules.
